The 3rd edition of Unicareers.lu, the University of Luxembourg's official job fair, will pursue its uninterrupted growth with about 120 exhibitors offering more than 2,000 vacancies (internships, fixed-term contracts & permanent contracts)!
The growing interest for this fair goes widely beyond Luxembourgish borders with 350 high schools & European partner universities with the sole objective to meet companies' recruitment needs. We also provision candidates with free bus service from Paris, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg, Brussels/Louvain, Liège, Saarbrücken, and Trier in order to enable their visits.
This one-day event is dedicated to students looking for an internship or a first position, but also to young professionals up to 5 years of experience. Foreign students & professionals are very welcomed.
Unicareers.lu will take place on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at Luxembourg Congrès (European Convention Center), from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm without interruption.
The fair will be divided in 8 distinct business sectors enabling visitors to locate easily: Audit-Accounting, Banking-Finance-Insurance, Business-Corporate Services, Law-Legal, Training-R&D, Industry-Transportation, IT & Partners-Consulting-Services.
In addition to meeting with exhibitors, visitors will have the opportunity to attend to several conferences held by Luxembourgish market experts:
- A round-table on "Youth Employment in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg" will be held at 11:00 am with the exceptional presence of Mr Nicolas Schmit, Luxembourg's minister of Labour.
- PwC, ING, State Street, ESA (European Space Agency), Siemens, Swiss Life & BIL (Banque Internationale à Luxembourg) will hold conferences on various topics.
The 2015 edition enabled 700 visitors to find a job; the organizers from the University of Luxembourg together with Moovijob hope to reach the thousand contracts symbolic milestone for this edition!
