La soirée Plug&Work Luxembourg, dédiée aux métiers de l'Informatique, de la Finance et du Droit/Juridique, vous permet de faire connaissance avec les principaux employeurs luxembourgeois tout en vous informant sur le pays. Vous pourrez y rencontrer une trentaine de sociétés connectées simultanément pour discuter carrière et nouveaux projets dans une ambiance conviviale, le mardi 01 décembre de 18h à 22h.

Cet évènement réservé aux profils spécialisés dans l'Informatique, la Finance et le Droit/Juridique est accessible uniquement sur invitation. L'inscription est obligatoire et vous permet de recevoir une invitation personnalisée, si votre profil est sélectionné par notre équipe.

Lieu : La soirée étant proposé en ligne, ça se passe sur votre ordinateur ou votre tablette, voire votre téléphone mobile, tant que vous êtes dans un endroit calme et que vous avez une bonne connexion Internet.

Date : Mardi 01 décembre 2020 de 18h à 22h en continu.

Comment m'inscrire à la soirée Plug&Work Luxembourg ?

Pour s'inscrire à la soirée Plug&Work Luxembourg, il vous sera nécessaire de vous rendre sur le site de l'évènement : https://www.plugnwork.lu/luxembourg.html, rubrique " Inscription ", avant le 30 novembre à 18h. Vous recevrez ensuite un email de confirmation d'inscription.

Attention : l'email de confirmation d'inscription n'est pas une invitation. Une fois inscrit.e, notre équipe étudiera votre demande de participation pour vérifier que votre profil est en adéquation avec les besoins de la soirée. Si votre CV correspond, notre équipe Sourcing vous recontactera pour valider votre participation dans les 3 jours. Nous vous conseillons de bien consulter vos e-mails et vos spams.

Si vous n'êtes pas accepté.e à la soirée, pas de regrets ! C'est qu'il n'y avait pas de postes à pourvoir dans votre domaine, adaptés à vos compétences ou à votre niveau d'expérience. Autre raison possible : le nombre de candidats invités étant limité pour le confort des participants, nous ne pouvons accepter de demandes de participation supplémentaires. Dans ce cas, votre CV sera quand même transmis aux recruteurs le lendemain de la soirée.

Il vous suffit de nous envoyer un message en précisant votre adresse email d'inscription via ce formulaire.

Pour vous préparer à cet évènement virtuel, voici quelques conseils :

• Mettez à jour votre CV avec vos dernières formations et/ou expériences professionnelles,
• Préparez la liste des différentes sociétés et des différentes opportunités qui vous intéressent en consultant le site de l'évènement,
• Assurez-vous de posséder une connexion internet efficace,
• Testez le son de votre micro et l'image de votre caméra au préalable,
• Isolez-vous dans une pièce au calme,
• Veillez à ne pas être à contre-jour.

Nous ne pouvons que vous conseiller d'utiliser un ordinateur disposant au minimum d'une caméra / webcam et d'un micro avec une bonne connexion internet. Pour le confort de tous et toutes, nous recommandons l'utilisation d'un casque ou d'écouteurs. La solution fonctionne aussi avec un téléphone portable mais c'est vraiment moins pratique.

Attention : la solution est compatible avec seulement 4 navigateurs : Google Chrome, Edge (seulement la version Chromium), Firefox et Safari.

Attention sur iPhone, seul Safari fonctionne et non Google Chrome.

Une connexion internet étant un prérequis pour participer à cette soirée virtuelle, vous pouvez toujours vous rendre chez un.e ami.e ou membre de la famille, dans un cybercafé ou encore dans un open space.

Veillez à bien anticiper ou réserver un ordinateur si cela est nécessaire. Astuce : emportez avec vous un casque ou des écouteurs afin de passer vos entretiens en toute discrétion.

La connexion et l'accès au salon virtuel s'effectueront à partir du site https://www.plugnwork.lu/luxembourg.html.

Lors de votre participation, connectez-vous grâce à l'adresse email utilisée lors de votre inscription. Vous serez ensuite redirigé.e vers la plateforme de la soirée.

N'oubliez pas de charger votre CV directement lors de la création de votre compte. Vous aurez également la possibilité d'y ajouter une photo (veillez toutefois à favoriser une photo professionnelle).

On vous demandera vos principales informations (nom, prénom, profil, photo, CV, ...).

Une fois connecté.e au site, vous pourrez lancer une recherche grâce à des catégories métiers ou à des mots-clés (exemple : poste souhaité, entreprise, type de contrat, etc.) et plusieurs opportunités professionnelles s'offriront à vous ! Ensuite, intégrez une file d'attente virtuelle et attendez d'être contacté.e par le recruteur ou la recruteuse lorsque celui-ci ou celle-ci est disponible. Puisque nous sommes d'humeur généreuse... vous pourrez intégrer jusqu'à 3 files d'attente à la fois et ne serez pas obligé.e d'attendre votre tour devant un stand précis avant de visiter les autres !

Une fois connecté.e à la soirée, vous pourrez voir l'ensemble des sociétés présentes et faire une recherche par mots-clés (poste souhaité, entreprise, etc.). Vous pourrez aussi trouver le stand Moovijob pour toute question relative à l'organisation de la soirée.

Une icône de couleur vous indiquera pour chaque société s'il y a peu, moyennement ou beaucoup d'attente.

Ensuite, cliquez sur le logo de la société qui vous intéresse. Vous verrez alors combien de personnes sont devant vous ainsi que le temps d'attente moyen. Vous pourrez alors intégrer une file d'attente virtuelle, potentiellement choisir la personne avec qui vous souhaiteriez échanger et attendre d'être contacté.e par le recruteur ou la recruteuse lorsque celui-ci ou celle-ci est disponible.

L'un des nombreux avantages d'un évènement virtuel est que vous pouvez vous connecter quand vous le souhaitez, faire une pause et revenir sans avoir à penser au temps du trajet.

Il faut juste garder en tête que la soirée termine officiellement à 22h, et il arrive que certains recruteurs commencent à partir dès 21h30.

Les rencontres se dérouleront comme en face-à-face... mais par écrans interposés ! Lorsque le recruteur ou la recruteuse sera prêt.e à vous accueillir virtuellement (et vous aussi !) une conversation vidéo sera lancée. Si vous ne possédez pas de webcam, pas de panique, vous pourrez lancer une conversation audio uniquement.

Il n'y aura aucune limite de rencontres par personne et vous pourrez ainsi contacter le plus d'exposants possible en une seule journée !

Lors de la création de votre profil pour cet évènement virtuel, vous chargerez votre CV et le/la recruteur/recruteuse y aura accès directement lors de votre appel.

N'hésitez pas à demander une adresse mail professionnelle si vous souhaitez par la suite envoyer une nouvelle fois votre CV aux personnes concernées.

Si vous sentez que le contact est bien passé avec un.e recruteur/recruteuse en particulier, n'hésitez pas à leur demander une adresse mail professionnelle à laquelle les contacter par la suite.

Si vous ne recevez pas de réponse, vous pouvez renvoyer un email après quelques jours afin de montrer votre motivation.

Parfois, à l'issue de votre rencontre avec une société, on vous demandera de vous inscrire sur le site carrière de l'entreprise afin de faciliter le processus de recrutement et de sélection via leur outil informatique.

En effet, de nombreux RH disposent de leurs propres systèmes de traitement d'informations qui leur permettent de mieux calibrer votre candidature suivant leur critères maison ! A en juger par le nombre de candidat.e.s qui sont recruté.e.s grâce aux salons, l'effort en vaut la peine.

The Plug&Work Luxembourg evening - dedicated to IT, Finance and Legal positions - enables you to get to know the greatest Luxembourg employers while learning about the country. You will have the opportunity to meet around thirty companies simultaneously connected to talk about your career and new projects in a friendly atmosphere, from 6 pm to 10 pm.

You may participate in this evening especially created for profiles specialized in IT, Finance and Legal fields by invitation only. Registration is required and allows you to receive a personalized invitation, if your profile is selected by our team.

Place: As it is a virtual evening, it takes place on your computer or tablet, or even your cell phone, as long as you are in a quiet place and have an efficient internet access.

Date: Tuesday, December 1, 2020, from 6 pm to 10 pm continuously.

You should participate because in one single evening...

1 - You will have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with around thirty Luxembourg's companies,

2 - You will be able to talk with them about the several career opportunities they are offering and ask them all the questions about the Luxembourg's labor market you have in mind,

3 - You will enjoy many professional meetings in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Do not hesitate to pour you your favorite drink*!

What is new: the virtual evening will allow you to exchange in complete safety and also to be in 3 lines at the same time. You will then save a considerable amount of time compared to the physical event!

How do I register for the Plug&Work Luxembourg evening?

To register for the Plug&Work Luxembourg evening, you will need to go to the event's website in the registration section, before Monday, November 30, 2020, at 6 pm. You will then receive an email confirming your registration.

Please note: the registration confirmation email is not an invitation. Once you have registered to the evening, our team will consider your request and make sure that your profile matches the needs of the recruiters present at this evening. If your CV matches, our Sourcing team will contact you to validate your participation within 3 days. We recommend you check your e-mails and spam.

If you are not retained to participate in this evening, do not feel bad about it! It could be because there were no job offer available in your field, adapted to your skills or level of experience this time. Another possible reason is that the number of invited candidates is limited for the participants' comfort, so we cannot accept additional requests for participation. In this case, your CV will still be forwarded to the recruiters the day after the evening.

If you have registered for the event, but did not receive your invitation by email, do not panic!

All you have to do is send us a message with your registration email address via this form.

In order to get ready for this virtual event, here are a few tips:

• Update your CV with your recent training and/or professional experience,
• List the different companies and professional opportunities you are interested in by checking the event website beforehand,
• Make sure you have an efficient internet access,
• Test the sound of your microphone and the image of your camera beforehand,
• Go in a quiet room,
• Avoid being backlit.

We can only recommend you use a computer with at least a camera / webcam and a microphone, with an efficient internet access. You can also have headphones or earphones for everyone's comfort. You can access the platform with your cell phone but it is really less practical.

If you are using an iPhone, only Safari works, not Google Chrome.

Having an internet access is a prerequisite to participate in this virtual evening. If you do not have internet access, you can always go to a friend's or family member's house, a cybercafé, a university library or an open space.

Our advice: make sure to anticipate or reserve a computer if it is necessary. You can take headphones or earphones with you to feel more at ease during your interviews - without people around you listening the whole conversation.

During your participation, please log in using the email address you used when you registered. You will then be redirected to the platform of the virtual evening.

Don't forget to upload your CV directly when you create your account. You will also have the possibility to add a photo to it (make sure to use a professional photo).

Right after, you will have to complete your main information (last name, first name, professional profile, photo, CV, and so on).

After connecting to the website, you will be able to search using categories or keywords (namely desired position, company, or type of contract, for instance) and you will see several professional opportunities! Then, join a virtual waiting line and wait to be contacted by the recruiter when he / she is available. Since we are in a generous mood... you will be able to join 3 lines at the same time! What a wonderful feature! Thanks to this, you would not have to wait your turn in front of one specific stand before visiting other companies!

Once logged into to the virtual evening, you will be able to see all the present companies. Do not hesitate to use some keywords - sought position, company, or type of contract, for instance - to simplify your job search. You can also find the Moovijob stand for any question related to the organization of the virtual evening.

There will be a colored icon to tell you if there is little, some, or a lot of waiting for each stand.

Then, you can click on the company's logo you are interested in. You will see how many candidates are already there and your average waiting time. You will then be able to join a virtual line, possibly choose the recruiter you would like to meet, and wait for him/her to contact you when he/she is available.

You will also have the opportunity to join 3 virtual lines at the same time and will not have to wait your turn in front of one specific stand before visiting other companies!

One of the many advantages of a virtual event is that you can log in and participate whenever you want, take a break, and come back without having to worry about the travel time.

Just keep in mind that the virtual evening ends officially at 10 pm and some recruiters may start to leave around 09:30 pm.

The meetings will take place as if they were face-to-face... but with screens in between! When the recruiter is ready - and you too! - to virtually meet, a video conversation will start. If you do not have a webcam, do not panic! You will be able to start an audio conversation with the recruiter.

There will be no limited number of meetings per person. You will then have the opportunity contact as many companies as possible in one evening!

You should upload your CV while creating your profile for this virtual event. The recruiter will then have direct access to it when the virtual meeting starts.

Do not hesitate to ask the recruiter his/her professional email address if you want to send your CV right after the call or contact him/her a little latter.

If we can give you a little piece of advice: contact the recruiter instead of waiting an answer!

If you feel that the meeting went especially well with a specific recruiter, do not hesitate to ask his/her professional email address to contact him/her after.

If you do not receive any an answer, you can send an email once again after a few days to prove your motivation.

A recruiter may sometimes ask you to register on the company's career site at the end of a call to facilitate the recruitment and selection process via their IT tool.

Many HR departments have their own information processing systems that allow them to manage the candidates according to their own criteria! Judging by the number of candidates who are recruited thanks to recruitment evenings, the effort is worth it.
